Social Justice in Action
Students will participate in service-learning activities that use advocacy and activism strategies to influence positive social change on campus or in the community. They will apply what they are learning in class to real-world settings on campus or the community and reflect on their personal values, beliefs, and experiences. Note: The Employment and Community Studies program is designed to provide students with diverse learning needs that hinder educational success an opportunity to prepare for lifelong learning, employment, and community engagement.
